Blink Blink Kits include the following items:

STEP 1: REMOVE TAIL LENSES
Remove each tail lens by:
1. Unscrewing the 2 net hooks per side.
2. Unbolting the 1 10mm bolt per side.
Watch for the metal clip for the 10mm bolt, it might fall out. If so save it and replace it when you re-assemble later.
Lens Out

STEP 2: CUT WIRES
1. Remove the tape covering the wires enough to expose about 4 inches of wire from the harness to the outside and middle sockets.
2. Cut the two YELLOW wires that come from the outside socket about 2 inches away from the socket (These wires are GREEN on the passenger side).
3. Cut the BLACK and BROWN wires from the middle socket about 2 inches from the socket.

DrillSTEP 3: PREP HOLE
1. Remove small center socket.
2. Drill or file the center hole to 1 1/8" diameter.

Shop VacSTEP 4: CLEAN LENS
1. Clean the plastic scraps out of the lens. These can be seen when the lights are on. A shop vac works great for this. Remove the other sockets for improved suction.

WiringSTEP 5: INSTALLING THE MODULE
1. Plug in the new socket, this will hold the module and wires for you.
2. Connect the wires. Use the supplied crimp connectors or solder and heat shrink.

Clean UpSTEP 6: FINISHING UP
1. Clean up by tying the wires and module together with the supplied wire ties.
2. Set lens back in place. Do not bolt it in yet.

Junction BoxSTEP 7: CHANGE THE FLASHER
The additional lamp makes the old flasher flash too fast. The flashers are located by the drivers left foot, in a junction box mounted to the firewall. There are two flashers, change the one on the right.

Test Jig
These boards are 100% tested. We anticipate great success on your part.

STEP 8: TESTING
TRY IT OUT! The 4 way emergency flasher is a good test. This way you get to walk back and see both sides running. It is normal for the outside lamp NOT to light the first time. GM sockets can be cranky, so if the inside or outside lamps don't light, wiggle the lamp in socket. Or try slapping the lens. If it runs too fast, with the outside lamp never or barely turning on, start the car, your battery may be low.

Remount the lenses and YOU ARE FINISHED!
